Acquired an Ebay from someone - should I create a New paypal for it or not?

I bought a 2001 ebay account with 30 feedback 100%.I need a paypal account
to go with it.Can i sign up for a new one and use info from ebay account
(not mine) with paypal?I assume info from ebay must match paypal account.
Or can i buy a paypal account and order ebay info i have to be used with paypal?Thanks.

That's a very good question. You need tech support on this one.

Obviously Ebay already knows what PayPal was linked to this EBay in the past, so if you try to create a false one with that same name both the Ebay and the PayPal will go down. And then as well if you create some completely mismatched new PayPal both accounts will go down as well.

There are ways to get around this problem.

I would add that adding a new PayPal to an old Ebay is a less risky proposition since Ebay and PayPal split.
