Do policy violation "flags" go away ?

EBAY will give you conflicting information on these "violations." One department will tell you it expires when the notice sent regarding it expires, another will tell you it never expires at all and is always taken into consideration.

And then one department will tell you a given violation is not a serious matter, and another will tell you it is very serious.

I have never been suspended for any policy violations.
