Traditionally CDs don't earn more than the rate of inflation, but in times like these when stocks and real estate are headed south, even a few percent a year sounds good.

Saving accounts, money market accounts, or CDs are not good investments. They hardly pay anything per month and are just to hold your money for safe keeping. It's better just to invest your money in the stock market, forex, or best of all your own business because they atleast pay more than two figures a month on a five figure investment!

Bank and bonds not bad, but stock market in my opinion better!

But don't discount bonds and banking. Interest rates may be low today, but even a percent or two positive is better than losing money.

Well yes you were right before in telling me before that the stock market provided a better gain than CDs or saving accounts.
