This was always the case and not just with Amazon. Returns, chargebacks, etc. they're all negative economy. Any retailer you make too many returns with, or file too many chargebacks with PayPal, or whatever, means you're costing them more money than you're worth to them, and they'll give you the boot.

Basically, if you return too many items, you will be banned off Amazon.
