I have a brand new factory sealed Apple MacBook Pro 2017 model (A1707), it is a very high end model:

it was the top of the line model for the A1707. Apple Care on the unit is already engaged and paid through April 2021. (Unit has never been used, so no Apple Care claims – box is still sealed.)
This unit cost new about USD $5500. with sales tax, including the Apple Care.
This is factory sealed NEW - NOT refurbished. It is a U.S. model same as you would buy in any U.S. retail store.
I was going to just use it myself, but I might sell it.
If you take a look on eBay they are selling the lower config of this

with only 2.8 Ghz processor, only Radeon 555 and only 512 Gb SSD, for around $2600., refurbished.
Here is a brand new one, again only 2.8 Ghz, only Radeon 555, only 512Gb SSD, for about $3300.:
