  • Flagged ebay account for a violation - will the account be watched more closely now?

If you have had a listings ended for trademark violation how long will the account be watched? Will the flag be attached forever?

Whenever your Ebay is dinged with any kind of warning, yes the account is watched more closely for that type of violation in the future. For example, a client of mine had an Ebay listing removed because he wrote in it that he would accept bitcoin as a payment option. He had had hundreds of listings over the past few years all noting that he would accept bitcoin, but once ONE of his listings was flagged and removed for that violation against Ebay's acceptable payments policy
    Payment methods policy
when he tried to post another listing asking for bitcoin payment, the listing was immediately flagged and removed.

So, yes, once you draw Ebay's attention you will be easily flagged and tagged for future violations of the same ilk.
