What are my options for a stealth account when PayPal requests SSN or EIN?

Recently PayPal send the email that I need to provide a SSN or EIN. My question are:

1. Can I provide an EIN that I used in another account?
2. Would that mean both accounts get linked?
3. If so, what options do I have?

PayPal allows only one premier or business, and one personal, absent special permission, which is the answer right there. Obviously accounts with the same SSN or EIN are the same accounts.

Ok thanks for the explanation. So it is clear that I can only use one EIN per account, can I open multiple EIN and add them to each of the stealth accounts? Wouldn't that be risky with the IRS that an individual is opening 50 EINs for 50 different business?

Getting EINs is advanced stuff for some, and you would need tech support if you don't know exactly what you are doing. But if you know how to get EINs, then it will be no problem to get a different one for each actual LLC or corporation. However, you are allowed only one EIN in your lifetime for all sole proprietorships.
